The Center for Independent Living (The CIL) provides advocacy and services in Northern California that increase awareness, collaboration and opportunity among people with disabilities and the community at large.
About this Program
The CIL supports and empowers people who aspire to achieve beyond the boundaries of the expectations others have placed on them. Its programs provide people with skills, knowledge and resources that empower them to eliminate damaging and stereotypical notions of disability so that they are able to strive toward realizing their full human potential.
The CIL has offices in Berkeley, Fruitvale and Alameda, California.
